OPERATION
The two pump system utilized by the Smartpit is so designed to capture the best out of each pump, and your grey water.
The strong vortex action of the irrigation pump is the best way to handle your grey water for those tougher irrigation demands.
And the 1440 rpm continuously rated, ultra quiet purge pump can operate in or out of water, so it can empty daily with little or no residue, or undue wear on the mechanicals of the irrigation pump.
MAINTENANCE
The two, all stainless mesh filter screens are made to be reused, another quality component, not a throw away item that needs replacing constantly, this grey water diversion device is a permanent fixture designed to be used seasonally.
Careful consideration has also been taken to coordinate volume with some common household practices. So as to reduce start up incidents, reducing the electrical demand, and of course lower running costs and unnecessary wear and tear on the irrigation pump.
SPECIFICATIONS
Available in either 65 mm or 100mm set ups the Smartpit fits directly to the pipe work.
With no on site drilling of holes at the waterline or below, installation has been made easier, and safer.
Differing inlet heights are accommodated by the use of pit collars, readily available in 250 mm sections.
The Smartpit comes fully fitted and ready to install, two power points need to be made available, and it’s a simple plug in and start.
The Smartpit’s 400kg rated lid is lockable and secure, concealing your garden saving Greywater in an unobtrusive and safe system.
SIMPLE AND SAFE GREY WATER PLUMBING
Inherent in the design of the Smartpit is the desire to continue watering with grey water long after you have forgotten to clean the filters.
An annual service with the aid of an aqua vac will easily and simply get your system clean again.
